Mrs. Alyssa Himmelfarb

My name is Alyssa Himmelfarb and this is my sixth year at PNW Boces.  I am very excited for the upcoming school year and I know it will be amazing!

 

My educational background: I have a Bachelors degree in Adolescent English Education from the State University of New York at Cortland and a Masters degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Lehman College.  I currently hold my professional certification in English Language Arts 7-12 and my professional certification in English to Speakers of Other Languages.

 

My hobbies/personal life: I am an avid reader (duh, I'm an English teacher!) and I love to spend time with my family. I have two fur babies: a dog, Chase and a cat, Hayley. I love the summertime, going to the beach, and going on vacation to Rhode Island with my family.
