This program will provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue their post-high school goals in the Veterinary Science/Animal Science field.

Course Description: This two year course will develop students’ understanding of the small animal, companion animal, large animal and exotic animal industry. Animal anatomy and physiology, animal nutrition, animal reproduction, animal ethics and welfare issues, veterinary office practices, and animal services to humans will be discussed. Career exploration will focus on careers in the animal science field including but not limited to; veterinarian, veterinary technician and veterinary assistant.
