Dr. William Brightman

We are currently starting our seventh year in Sports Medicine here at BOCES Yorktown Technical School and I am proud to say the the first six years were a tremendous success! I have had the pleasure to be starting my 12th year at PNW BOCES as an instructor. I also have a private health care practice in Chiropractic  and Sports Medicine in Mahopac NY. I own the practice and have been practicing since 1998. 

Prior to opening my own practice I had the opportunity to work as a Chiropractic Sports Medicine Specialist at Physician Multiicare in NYC. At that time it was one of the largest multidiscipline practices in the world and I had the opportunity to work side by side with Neurologists, Orthopedists, Physiatrists, Pain Management Specialists, and Physical Therapists gaining valuable experience.

My educational background inludes a Bachelor of Science from SUNY Cortland; Masters of Science from Ithaca College; Doctorate from NY Chiropractic College of Medicine, and a Masters of Education from Touro College.

My  Educational certifications are in high school science, biology, special education, health, and physical education. I am a licensed Chiropractic Practitioner and am affiliated  and have extensive post doctoral training in sports medicine. 

I am hoping to bring a unique background to the student population here at the Tech Center with my diverse teaching experiences and real world practicality.
